The three-day US$2,500 Texas No Limit Hold'em poker tournament takes place at the luxury Mantra Resort Spa Casino in Punta del Este, Uruguay from August 7-9, 2008. Qualifying satellites are set to start on PokerStars in early June.
How to get there
There are direct flights to Montevideo's Carrasco International Airport from many US cities including Miami, Atlanta, Houston and Dallas. There are direct flights from most South American capitals, and several European destinations such as Madrid and London Heathrow.
From other major cities, you might need to change at Miami, Buenos Aires or other hubs.
You can also take a one-hour flight from Buenos Aires direct to Punta del Este's small international airport, or three hour ferry ride.
